On Monday I recommended OnSong, a fantastic app for compiling, storing, editing, reading and sharing music.  Today, I’m going to share two more apps that complete my digital music needs a la iPad.

It never ceases to amaze me how much music I have. Fake books, lyric sheets, classical scores, pop books, easy play, big note, hymn books, lesson books, lead sheets….amen!  If there was an app that could compile all this with wicked editing tools, believe me, I would share it.  Until then, here’s the rest of my round-up for compiling music.

Dropbox

Description: (Head scratch?) Not a music app, I know. However, to quote the iTunes review, “Take everything that matters to you on the go.”  Upload songs and lyric sheets from your computer into your dropbox account and have access to them anywhere you go.  Oh yeah, and all those songs can be imported into OnSong for its handy-dandy editing tools. Total win win!

Musicnotes

Cost: FREE

Description: If you’ve read my resources page then you know that I like to use musicnotes.com for downloading and printing sheet music. I was already sold on musicnotes.com BEFORE they had an app and now that they do, I can access all my previous downloads anytime, anywhere via my iPad.  It’s an invaluable resource for all things music therapy!
