Pictionary is a fun game, and MUSICAL pictionary is even more fun. So, why use musical pictionary in your music therapy sessions?

Musical pictionary is an engaging and inclusive way to exercise several targeted skills and goals in music therapy. Picture identification addresses cognitive and attention skills. Adapt this for your visually impaired clients by describing the picture.

Once pictures are identified, then you can work with your client individually or in a group setting to figure out which song they are trying to guess. Give clues, head nods, or whatever form of affirmation and acknowledgment works best for your clients. Then, sing the song!

Below are seven images that are ready to download and used for pictionary during February! Which ones do you know best?
